Yagyaseni – Draupadi

A conversation that shows Draupadi’s anger towards her husband Aryaputra Yudhisthir and the members of the court of Hastinapur, of whom Duryodhan and Dushassan brothers of Yudhisthir tried to humilate her. This sequence is what leads to what we Indians know as the epic war of Mahabharata

Scintillating Sunday Thoughts

Today’s thought is inspired by a conversation between Lord Krishna and Karna in the Mahabharat. Lord says to Karna – Life is not fair to anybody and it can never be. Only because life has been unfair to you, you should not be influenced to take the wrong path.

Further Lord said, Always remember life may be tough but it is important to remember the following words (given below)

Better late than never

Hello readers. Today I will be talking about how I am learning and keeping myself inspired during this quarantine. We know that we will have to adjust with and accept this difficult time, feelings and the lifestyle until everything resumes to normalcy. It’s a time where we have to portray mankind in its purest form. This feeling is probably driving a few of us insane and while I spoke to so many of my friends (virtually ;p) and caught up with them as to what is keeping them sane and some of my findings were : Well, Dalgona coffee of course (if you haven’t tried this out, I highly urge you to try it), tik tok, cooking, online courses (you could find some on course era, linked in), games, etc etc.

Well let me share with you what I am doing apart from the things already mentioned above. There was a time when I used to learn the keyboard and due to some reasons I had to stop. However I have always felt this strange connect and love for music. How I perceive music is this

It is magical that music is one of the few forms that lets you feel a tangible source and at the same time it bows seeds of feelings and evokes a vibe. There is a certain sort of fragrance it sets you in ; so much, that you might as well get addicted. It lets you go with the flow.

Hence this quarantine I decided that I will try my best to get back to learning and try a few songs along the way. Well I thought to myself I could have started this a lot earlier but better late than never. The reason I will tell you folks is that I always had in my mind that I don’t have the time or I can’t devote time for this or to put it very simply I was making excuses in my mind. This quarantine made me realize that when we have only ourselves, our family then the only thing that can prevent us from getting inspired to learn something or try something is our phone, the baking, etc etc because in my opinion this can only distract us but it will not push us hard or keep us happy. This will not remove the feeling of boredom.

The time that we have now is like a blessing because this is the time that we need to focus. Focus on connecting with family, focus on a new thing and see that you will enjoy it. Quarantine made me realise that what was lacking when I started keyboard was a little bit of interest and focus. However its the love for music that made me get back to playing the keyboard and actually enjoying it.

In the end I would like to conclude by saying that it’s better late than never to start focusing, being inspired and derive learning.

Happy international women’s day

Hello readers,

Today’s post is not just dedicated to celebrating women but also men. Here’s wishing you all a very happy international women’s day through a very special message which was long due.

Grateful to the men for some of them have always stood by me, supported my dreams and loved me as I am, for some of them have showed the world to man up and stand by right, no matter what. Also grateful to some of the men for some of them have pushed me down only for them to realize how stronger I am while I smile in savage and grace. Grateful to each and every woman for shutting sexist comments of all the men, coming up stronger and uplifiting other women and proving thy strength by their achievements speaking for itself. Vulnerability is my strength, being vocal and open about what I believe in is my strength and if anyone has a problem with it, then may god bless you with wisdom because you are messing with a confident and fabulous women.

Happy international women’s day ❤

IRIS 2019

Welcome back readers :). Its good to connect after so long. Today’s post is inspired by a very big moment from 2019. Keep reading to find out !

Life is too short to hold on to what we already have, a dream can give us the hope to achieve or atleast witness what we want. Never stop dreaming. The joy of a surprise is when we don’t know what we are going to receive but we have a strong intuition about it and we feel a ray of positive vibe and energy from it. IIM Indore came as a surprise to me. A dream I always had, a hope I never let go yet my own mistakes turned my fate. Fate turned but how !. I never imagined in the wildest of my dreams that I could even come close to this seemingly impossible feat. Everything was as I imagined it would be serene, vivacious, splendid, colorful, challenging and spirited all at the same time. I wonder what is it about the university that people dream to make it here. I consider these people the chosen ones as only they know the worth of the lifestyle they get to live, the people and cultures they get to meet, the memories and the career that they build with all the blood and sweat and the sleepless nights, the character that they develop, the charismatic demeanour that they have and the knowledge that they absorb. The journey, the people and the destination made everything special. The friends I have made here are probably going to remain in my heart for a lifetime. I could not have asked for anything more, all the first hand experiences I had could not have been half as joyful, if it was not for them. I am grateful, for today I understand the worth of dreams. Today I understand the power of your aspirations. Grateful to the many IIM’s that inspired me to set eyes on this wander of a land. It’s true – “Your dreams take you to places”. Believe in the power of rays, rays that bring positivity, rays that always reminds us to be brave, ready and embrace anything our way for there is always a new surprise at the next step of life’s pathway.

I would love to know from my readers about their inspirations and would like to chat with you guys about what are the best things that you receive that came as a surprise to you !
