In today’s post I would like to share something that I strongly believe on. Keep reading to find out

Life gives us a lot of opportunities to discover and seek what we want. We hussle and hussle harder to be the best in everything we do and we begin to define ourselves by making an impression of ourselves for others. I believe what we must do is this :

We must always center our focus on improving ourselves by respecting and enjoying the freedom of expression of not only us but others and let this flow into impressions. Never stick to what you only know, or a word or a quality that you think defines you. Instead, take ventures, take risks, take the tougher route and keep moulding yourselves for then, you find new meanings, new perspectives to very simple aspects of life like friendships, hardships, relationships, love, family, happiness etc. You will find that in this process you are refining you and these refined thoughts help us evolve and we slowly begin to redefine ourselves.

Lastly I would like to quote

“Definition is to know who you are and understand what you are made of”

“Redefinition is to grow with the understanding of what you know, what people know and the unknown”

The inspiration for this post came from the idea of understanding the importance of freedom of expression especially in today’s generation and the right way to utilise it for oneself.

Welcome back to my blog amigos !

Home, what is home ?

Home has different meanings for you and me and people look at them with different perspectives. For eg : Home is spending time with family and for some it is a fruit of their labour and sweat which they have built with care. For some, it is that one person who keeps them happy and makes them feel protected and feel like home while some find their home in nature. For some, home is finding that one loyal friend (your pet) who keeps you laughing and smiling when you feel the lowest.

But what is the true meaning of home ?

The true meaning and feeling of home is what keeps us driving ; A passion for travel, a fashion blog to help people, achieving the job of your dreams, standing on your own feet etc. Our passion motivates us and pushes us each day to wake up and do what we do, what we wish to do, to make us and people around us happy 🙂 The people who matter the most uplift us and constantly remind us about life’s purpose and our role and service. These are the people who never make us feel alone, they keep us grounded and build our confidence which helps us to think and identify who we are and cherish what we can do best. They are the true drivers of our passion and we are the writers of our vision, hence this translates to the true meaning of Home.

So all I want to tell my readers is Be inspired, get up and work your way out and in the process inspire people. That is where we can find home, that is where we can make the whole world our home 🙂

The inspiration for this post came at a time when I was returning back to my college after a long vacay at my hometown. I would love to know from my readers

Diamonds

This piece of writing is inspired by my beautiful mother. My first inspiration and the person who taught me to love the self before the world. This I believe is a classic example of self love, self belief and a lesson on being the best version of yourself and the strongest you could possibly be. Let me start off by sharing something that has always stayed with me. My mother always said that “My child, you are a diamond, no matter what people say, no matter what people think, don’t consider yourself to be less beautiful than anybody”. Everybody in life faces some kind of discrimination and very often people say things that demotivates us and affects us deeply, making us feel empty and hurt. I too faced a lot of discrimination for my dusky skin tone and I used to feel insecure about it. I never found the confidence to accept and love myself the way I am.

So, what should we do ?

The answer is “believe in yourself”

Believe that you are a diamond, each person should believe that he/she is a diamond and that you are no less beautiful than any gem. As a diamond remind yourself to learn to love yourself and hold your respect in order to be loved and to be worthy of love. We humans have all the qualities of a diamond – gentle, proud, strong, bright and charming. All we diamonds need is a little polishing in order to keep shining in life. A true diamond is the one that is strong and which can never be broken and nobody can dare to break it. Lets all aspire and take an oath to be the true diamonds that shine from within and be the light that people are inspired to be guided from.

The most important thing we forget sometimes is to love ourselves and believe in ourself. I have carried my mother’s words in my heart and this gives me the confidence to face the world, to stand still in any storm that I face or will face. I would like to know from my readers on what is the one thing that your mother has said that will always stay with you ! 🙂

Hi friends, Welcome to Diamonds on earth blog. I am Tanisha Agarwal. So here’s a little bit about me. I was born and brought up in a joint family. Having lived in a joint family and living with such a mix of people I have always felt that in order to be heard both in family as well as society amongst friends, wellwishers etc the biggest thing to set you apart and the biggest strength that every human has which can build or destroy your relationships is your voice and your thoughts which flow through your voice. People beleive that opinions, thoughts and perspectives are reflected through art, talents and skills and while i beleive in it, I also beleive that for me my opinion is conveyed through my writing, my blog. My opinion is my view and my take on things which is unique, personal and while I am not straightforward, I do not hesitate to share my opinion. An honest and earnest reflection in thoughts and sayings can take us to places. Having said that I would like to mention that if I am wrong, I would whole heartedly accept it but also would understand the other person’s perspective and tell why I said what I said. I am a simple, carefree person and I don’t take things too seriously. I beleive in the idea of go with the flow and prefer to be optimistic in this tiny life of mine which I beleive is truly never your own and is given to you as a gift to inspire others while making sure that no matter who you are surrounded with, you allow only those thoughts to surface your mind which inspire you.

So hence I invite you to my little world. Hope that my future posts inspires you and would love to know from my readers on how do they feel they showcase their opinions, it could be through art, videos, or just your voice and also what is the one thought that has inspired you.
